About the Author:

B. Aisha Lemu was born in England. She became Muslim in 1961 while a student of the University of London. On the completion of her graduate studies, she traveled to Nigeria as a teacher in 1966. She has served as principal of Government Girls' College in Sokoto, Nigeria, and later as principal of Women Teachers' College in Minna, Nigeria.
